REFLECTIVE PSYCHOANALYTIC GROUP IN THE SUPERVISION OF INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOANALYTIC PSYCHOTHERAPY

PLAN OF WORKSHOP

I - Description and conceptualization of psychoanalytic psychotherapy

• Reflective psychoanalytic group and the process of supervision with trainees at the Clinical Department of The "Universidade de S*o Paulo".
• The use of the Bion's concepts and his grid to evaluate shifts and evolution of objects from beta-elements to alpha-elements through the alpha-funtion; from alpha-elements to hallucinations and daydreamings, by the function of revêrie.
• Transformations of bizarre elements presented in chaotic situations, not comprehensible into different modalities of understandable actions: notation, observation, interpretation, and clinical reasoning.

II - Psychic change in supervision.

• Resonances of emotional turbulence from the psychotherapy session to the group supervision.
• Shifts in internal object relations according to the concepts of interpretation vertices (groupality and multiplicity in the transference). Making the best of bad job in the clinical seminars.

III - Three mind bionean representations of the analytic process

• The Geometric model
  1. points and lines, and space
  2. geometrical constructions
  3. induced homomorphy shifts on the topology and homothopy of internal objects.
• The Oedipal model
  1. Triangle structure and supervision
  2. Oedipus as a pre-conception: a structuring struture?
  3. A new triangle in supervision: triangular space and the development of a working model in the psychoanalytic psychotherapy supervision
• The Transcendental model
  1. Truth and falsehood

IV - Clinical facts illustrating transformations of objects:

• Reconstructing the separation of dead objects, which were formerly introjected as an idealised object;
• Rebuilding the faulting legs in supervised sessions;
• Retaking stollen legs objects in the mind and emotional climate of psychotherapy supervision;
• Nascent thoughts, panic attacks and object transformations;
• Reacquiring of projected parts of the self and some obstacles to the recovery of these projected parts.
